C. Cain Elliott was born and raised in the United States. He has been living in Poland for the past several years and is currently a doctoral candidate in Social and Political Philosophy at the Graduate School for Social Research (IFiS-PAN). He is also an instructor at the University of Warsaw. His favorite word in English is grit (noun, in informal use it refers to an indomitable spirit). His least favorite word is moist (adjective, describing something as slightly wet).
